Net-price Calculators: Determining College Costs

Starting in the fall of 2011, the federal government is requiring all U.S. colleges to include a tool called a net-price calculator on their websites. The goal of this new initiative is to make the financial aspect of attending college more transparent and to make it easier for families to compare the cost of attending one institution over another.

Keystone Exams: A Primer

In just four years, beginning with students in the classes of 2015 and 2016, Pennsylvania will institute new high school graduation requirements that include the use of newly developed end-of-course assessments called the Keystone Exams.
