On the ACT Science test, it’s very important to read passages carefully, while still managing your time well. Listen as A+ tutor Tom Spencer explains the importance of this technique.
Learning to Read ACT Passages Carefully
ACT science tip: While it’s important to be mindful of how much time you are spending on each question when taking the ACT test, it’s equally vital that you are comprehending each passage. For some of the more complex science passages, spending 2-3 minutes reading and understanding the passages may be all you need to breeze through those post-passage questions.
Practice makes all the difference! We recommend taking free proctored practice ACT tests to get familiar with the types of passages that will be on the real test. Click the banner below to find out more about our free proctored tests.
