Time management takes practice – especially when a student is taking a standardized test like the ACT. Find out why being mindful of your time is so important with our video tip below.
Learning to Manage Your Time
On average, you have about a minute per question or less on the ACT – so it is important that you understand how long you should spend on a question, and when to skip ahead if you don’t know the answer.
The best way to get used to time management is to time yourself when you are taking practice tests. This will help you get a feel for how fast you will need to go through the questions on test day.
We recommend taking proctored practice ACT tests, which are as close as possible to “the real thing.” These proctored exams give you the opportunity to practice your pacing, which is critical on both the SAT and ACT exams. Click the banner below to learn more about our free proctored tests.
