Special Education Advocacy Training

The SEAT program is a twelve session program designed for parents, educators, clinicians, lawyers- and anyone who is interested in special education, including kids with learning issues. Topics include preparing for IEPs, understanding and utilizing evaluations, advocacy skills and more. Attendees have the option of attending one, several, or all of the sessions. Act 48 and CEU credits will be given.

The facilitator, Dr. Marie Lewis, is a well known disability expert and is on the faculty of the National Special Education Advocacy Institute. Last year, over 1000 people attended a similar training conducted by Dr. Lewis for the ARC of Chester County. For more information click on the following link:
