Q: When will the new version of the PSAT be given for the first time?
A: The new PSAT will be administered for the first time in October, 2015. So students in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 will be seeing the new PSAT this fall.

Q: When is the first date for the new SAT?
A: The new SAT will be given for the first time on March 5, 2016. Note that this date may change, as it is an “anticipated” date, but March, 2016 is the general time frame.

Q: How will you prepare students for the new SAT?
A: We are hard at work creating the new curriculum for the new versions of the PSAT and SAT. So there is no need to worry. We will have everything in place to prepare our students for the new exams.

Q: Do you have any special advice for students in the Class of 2017?
A: We strongly encourage students in the Class of 2017 to consider the ACT as an alternative to the new SAT because, as with anything new, there will be glitches rolling out the new test. The ACT, on the other hand, is a known quantity, and is not changing.
